This machine was a hit at Christmas for our 10 year old grandson and his 6 and 7 year old sisters. It was fun having an oldfashion sing along!

Fun, Fun ! Having a blast with the machine. The recorder is also a great tool.....let's you know in the privacy of your own room how awful one sings !!! But that the fun of it !

These Karaoke systems that play CDG discs seem nice, but have a basic flaw. The CDG discs do not contain very many songs. The first discs only had 4 songs each. Some newer discs have up to 16 songs, but they have to be short.
To get a good library of songs, you need to collect a lot of discs. To jump around from song to song, you have to keep changing discs. And, it is like the old DVD players, where the system takes a long time to recognize the disc.
This is a big cumbersome unit and hard to transport.
Get a Leadsinger microphone instead. It is the same price, comes with 300 songs and is easily portable.
